貓，躺在樹上悠閒。
我，用小圓口刀在樹下挑剔。
燈下暖和，
貓，享受著像沙灘上美好的日光浴。
我，鑿出瑣碎木屑蓋上自己的身影，
就像屋外掉落的龍眼花鋪地。
窗外，龍眼花香。
屋內，油墨味辛酸。
蜜蜂，
知道樹上有許多甜蜜。
貓，
不知何故煩惱，
吃不到鄰居窗口的一尾煎魚？
而
我刻出龍眼樹的花樣時，
貓，卻埋在枝葉裡嘆氣。

Longan Flowers and Cat
A longan tree drawn on a woodblock,
The cat, lying leisurely on the tree.
Me, picking over the details of the tree with a round tip knife.
Under the lamp, warm,
The cat, as if enjoying a wonderful sunbath on the beach.
Me, carving out bits of wood pieces covering my own shadow,
like the fallen longan flowers spreading all over the outdoor ground.
Outside the window, the pleasant scent of the longan flowers.
Inside the house, the sad bitter smell of the oil ink.
The bees,
know all too well of the sweetness on the tree.
The cat,
anxious without knowing why,
unable to get the fried fish by the neighbor’s window?
Yet
As I carve out the shape and texture of the longan tree,
The cat, hidden in its branches, sighing.
